Our Story

Connie DeMaio is a lifelong equestrian and professional rider and trainer. She’s a second-generation horsemen. Connie grew up showing in the hunter/jumper rings and has been backing and training horses since she was a teenager. Connie has taught at several show barns throughout New York and New Jersey bringing her clients to numerous titles and honors. Connie is a co-founder and owner of Redingote Equestrian and owner of FITS Riding. She is now based at her own private facility at her home in Colts Neck, NJ.

Caitlin is a dedicated equestrian professional with a passion for retraining horses. With over 3 decades of experience, she specializes in preparing horses to meet his/her own potential. Her patient and empathetic approach allows her to understand each horse's unique needs and tailor her training methods accordingly. Caitlin's expertise lies in transforming horses into confident and skilled jumpers, earning her a reputation for excellence in the equestrian community. Through her commitment to the well-being and development of both horse and rider, she continues to make a lasting impact in the world of competitive show jumping.

Kim originates from Europe. With 25 years of extensive equine expertise, she boasts a wealth of experience, having rode up into the upper levels of stadium jumping and dressage. Over the past 15 years, Kim has honed her skills in nurturing young thoroughbreds and warmbloods, specializing in groundwork, backing, and updated schooling practices to lay the foundation for young horses in the sport horse world.
